Well, the answer is to post during the days and times when MOST of your followers are online.

Best days to post: Thursdays and Fridays.
Best times: 1 pm to get more shares, 3 pm to get more clicks.
In general, the best times to post on Facebook are between 9 am – 7 pm towards the end of the week.

Best days to tweet: During weekdays for B2B businesses, Wednesdays and weekends for B2C businesses.
Best times: 5 pm to get more retweets, 12 pm and 6 pm to get more clicks.
In general, the best times to tweet on weekdays are during commute hours.
